It has been a year since we introduced the EFI VUTEk Q5r to our production floor, and in that time, it has made a noticeable impact on both efficiency and consistency. Larger Seamless Graphics

With a maximum print width of 208 inches, the Q5r allows Payler to produce oversized and large format graphics with fewer seams. Most materials we run reach up to 196 inches (16'4") wide, making it possible to create:

• Superwide banners
• Building graphics
• Wide-format signage 

Faster Production Speeds

The Q5r can produce over 7,000 square feet per hour, allowing us to move large projects through production quickly. This increased efficiency helps shorten turnaround times and makes it easier to fulfill your order needs without sacrificing quality. 

Sharper Image Quality

With up to 1200 dpi resolution, the Q5r prints sharp detail, smooth gradients, and vibrant color even at large sizes. This level of resolution represents the high end of industry standards for superwide printing, ensuring your graphics remain sharp and professional both up close and at a distance. 

Enhanced Durability

The printer’s clear ink acts as a built-in laminate, available in gloss and matte finishes. This added protection helps guard prints against:

• Abrasion
• Chemicals
• Weather damage
• Air pollution
• UV fading

Superior Backlit Graphics

The Q5r is especially well suited for backlit films and illuminated signage. Using our color / white / color / clear layering formula, we achieve precise image line-up and consistent color whether the graphics are viewed day or night. 

Advanced Layered Printing

The printer supports five-layer printing, allowing completely different graphics to appear on each side of transparent materials like clear window films. Using the sequence color / white / black / white / color, we can produce double-sided graphics that display unique messaging depending on the viewing direction.
